3GSolar is a leading developer of low cost solar energy using new generation dye cell photovoltaics. 3GSolar operates a fully equipped facility at the Har Hotzvim Industrial Park in Jerusalem. Dye cells generate electricity from solar energy using nano-sized titanium dioxide particles impregnated with dye, rather than from silicon or similar semiconductors. 3GSolar developed new intellectual property which substantially reduces the cost of dye cells and increases the cell size. 3GSolar is commercializing the technology and will incorporate it into low cost solar modules.
