Dr. Meir Weinstein
Meir Weinstein is Operations Manager for the INNI and Secretary of the Board of Directors.
Dr. Weinstein served for over 25 years in the Israeli Ministry of Defense as part of the Directorate of Defense Research and Development (MAFAT). From 1992 until 2002 he was Director of Research and Technology Base for MAFAT.
From 1969 to 1975, Dr. Weinstein was a Research Scientist in the Department of Structural Chemistry at the Weizmann Institute of Science. He received his Ph.D. in Chemistry in 1965 from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Mr. Barry N. Breen
Communication and Administration
Barry Breen is responsible for Communication and Administration for INNI. He has broad engineering and management experience in thin film manufacturing and in development of passive microwave/RF devices and medical imaging components, including 15 years as an R&D manager.
Mr. Breen is a technology and business consultant to several startup companies that are exploiting nanotechnology in the areas of electronic components and solar energy.
Mr. Breen holds 5 patents and another 4 applications pending, has coauthored 17 papers and application notes and was awarded two prestigious prizes: the Kaplan prize (1994) and the Kyocera Corporation President's Award (1998). He is a 1980 B.Sc. graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in nuclear engineering.
Mr. Rafi Koriat
Industry and Academia Cooperation
Rafi Koriat is leading Academic and Industry Cooperation for INNI. He has extensive experience as CEO and Board member in the fields of semiconductor assembly and processing equipment, optical network components and other emerging fields. Prior to his present position as Founder and CEO of Korel Business Ltd., which specializes in strategic positioning and guiding high tech company management, Mr. Koriat was CEO of Lambda Crossing (optical components for networks) and Founder and CEO of Steag CVD Systems. Previously, he worked at Kulicke and Soffa Industries Inc. in the USA and Israel as Corporate Vice President for Engineering and Technology, and Corporate Director for Business and Marketing.
Mr. Koriat is also the founder and chairman of the Sub Micron Semiconductor Consortium, the OptiPac Consortium (Optical communication networks) and the Nanotechnology Consortium under the Chief Scientist Magnet program. Rafi holds a B.Sc. from the Technion Institute of Technology, Israel, an M.Sc. from Drexel University Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and completed an Executive Management Program at Stanford University, Palo Alto, California.
