Israel Makov is former President and Chief Executive Officer of Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. Previously he served as Teva's Chief Operating Officer, Executive Vice President and Vice President for Business Development.
Prior to joining Teva, Mr. Makov served as Chief Executive Officer of Interpharm, Axiom, Yachin Hakal and Gottex. Mr. Makov also currently serves on the Board of Directors at Bank Hapoalim Ltd.
He received his B.Sc. in Agriculture and his M. Sc. in Economics from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem.
